Safe Ways to Unclog a Drain
If you have little ones at home, you want to do everything in your power to keep them safe. Unfortunately, most drain cleaners include harsh chemicals that would be dangerous if your little on got a hold of them. Thankfully, there are many natural alternatives that work just as well. In this video, you will learn about some of these alternatives. If none of the alternatives in the video work, please consider calling a residential plumbing expert.
Do you have any extra metal coat hangers lying around the entryway? If so, these coat hangers can be used to unclog your drain in minutes. First, take the coat hanger and bend it to that it is one long metal wire with a curved end.
Next, tape some duct tape to the curved end. This prevents it from scratching the inside of the drain. With this, you are almost ready to begin the unclogging process. Before you get started, grab a bucket or trash bag to put debris in. Finally, you are ready to start unclogging. Carefully insert the coat hanger into the drain. From there, attempt to dislodge or fish out any debris that may be stuck in the piping. In a matter of minutes, you should be able to dislodge the debris and break the clog.
